Isn't that cool? I'm actually not dead. I have not been captured by the imperial navy, killed by fellow buccaneers, or beheaded by angry sea demons! And by my way of thinking, any day where those three things do not happen is a very good day indeed.
Unfortunately, there isn't a lot to report on in the last few months. Just busy trying to make money to pay for the next year of school, so I can be done with it and get on with my life's rue adventures and all that.
There was quite a storm today, actually, made sailing quite treacherous. it continues to rage on outside my cabin window, but I'm anchored in a cave on one of my safe house islands, so the ship is safe from the storm. Earlier in the day, I made a voyage to pick up my first mate, the lovely Ms. Carpenter, only to find myself caught in the thick of it!!! All the ships around me in the harbor were taking on water, and if I hadn't slowed down, I know I would have too. However, old Stalwart was able to muscle through it, despite it's rickety condition, and the voyage was successful.
The past few months have been very laid back, however, and I expect similar fortunes to continue for the immediate future.
